of details of clothing, etc |

Take a Ghusl (bath)
after Fajr (dawn). |

Brush the teeth. |

Dress up, putting on best clothes available,
whether new or cleaned old ones. |

Use perfume (men only). |

Have breakfast after Shalaat (prayer). |

Go to prayer ground early. |

Perform Shalaat-ul-Eid in congregation in
an open place except when whether is not permitting
like rain, etc. |

Use two separate routes to and from the
prayer ground. |

Recite the following Takbir on the way to
Shalaat and until the beginning of Shalaat-ul-Eid.
On Eid-ul-Adha, Takbir starts from Maghrib
on the 9th
Dzulhijjah and last until the ‘Asr on
the 12th
Dzulhijjah: Allaahu Akbar, Allaahu-Akbar.
Laa ilaa ha illlallah. Allaahu Akbar, Allaahu
Akbar. Wa lillaahilhamd. (Allah
is greater, Allah is greater. There is no
God but Allah. Allah is greater, Allah is
greater. And all praises are for Allah).
