Supermodel Amber Valetta was born
on 9 February 1974 in Phoenix, Arizona, and raised
in Tulsa, Oklahoma. When she was 15 years old, her
mother enrolled her in modeling school where she
began her career. Her first photo shoot was for
the Italian Vogue magazine. After a shoot for Elle
magazine, Valletta moved to Paris.
The photogenic Valletta then had plenty of work
coming her way. She modeled fashions for the ad
campaigns of such designers as Calvin Klein, Versace,
Prada, Chanel and Gucci. Soon after, she was chosen
as co-host in House of Style, an MTV's fashion show.
Valletta has appeared in several films, including
What Lies Beneath (2000)
with Harrison Ford, Hitch (2005)
with Will Smith, and Raising Helen (2004),
with Kate Hudson.
