Suicide is a dreadful sin. The souls
of those who committed suicide are obliged to repeat
their painful deaths everyday.
Joey (Shu Qi) teeters
on the brink of madness after suicide attempts.
She’s the unwilling recipient of an influx
of shadowy images that haunt her pervasively one
female specter in particular seems to dog Joey at
every turn.
The sightings escalate when Joey discovers she’s
pregnant, so in an attempt to quell this disturbing
phenomenon, she looks up her romantic interest,
Sam (Tik Jesadaporn Pholdee)
and a Buddhist monk, who may be able to shed some
light upon the mysterious twilight world descending
upon her.
But Joey cannot live with the sight of the co-existing
and the fate of her child the woman spirit who has
committed suicide is indeed going to be her child!
If Karma is the explanation, what good or evil could
she have done to this unknown woman?! Or…has
she? Joey is determined to unveil the identity of
the mysterious woman, but every truth comes with
a cost….and this one in particular is not
what Joey can afford.
