Jean-François Fichot

Among his creations are stunning necklaces and other pieces of amulet like quality which quickly gain the attention and admiration of a small circle of admirers and collectors including, Andy Warhol, Jerry Hall, Marisa Berenson, Kenzo, Sting, Elle MacPherson, John Galliano and David Bowie.

His style has evolved and current designs are inspired by excavated gold jewelry from ancient civilizations, where gold was believed to be a symbol of the sun and prosperity.

This has been translated into his designs by the extensive use of gold and ancient elements such as excavated glass and precious beads. Traces of Mesopotamian, Roman and Egyptian influence can also be found in his pieces. However, as it was among the ancient great religions of Hindu Buddhist empires of Southeast Asia and tribal people that he was to
find the key to his unique and remarkable style.
